42" Hitachi Plasma for the GuestRoom

Today we installed this 42" Hitachi Plasma in the Guest Bedroom of this Stevens Ranch home, which is located near Santa Clarita. Because the bed is located directly in front of the bed, we had no choice but to put the Plasma TV on the side wall. This install location warranted the use of a Articulating Wall Mount so that the viewer could angle the TV toward the head of the bed. And when the TV isn't in use, it can rest flat against the wall. "Violators Will Be Shot...."

Pioneer 42" Plasma + Def Tech 3.2 Sound System

This install was completed in the Palms area of Culver City, CA. Normally, your Main left and right speakers will be equal distance on either side of the TV. This situation was peculiar because the door to the left of the TV was the main entrance, so putting these Definitive Technology Floor Standing Speakers by the Plasma would greatly intrude on the walkway of the entrance. I decided to wire the speakers to the back of the room, away from heavy traffic, yet still aesthetic/sound stage pleasing. With a few audio gain adjustments in the Receiver, I was able to perfectly balance the sound stage, so that the distant Center speaker above the Plasma was still audible from the seating position, even though the hi-quality Tower Speakers were resting only a few feet away. Why So Naked???

Sorry to post such a naked picture of an install, but I thought you might still be able to appreciate the completed portion of this install. Obviously, the customer hasn't purchased her entertainment furniture yet, so I had to make do. This install was performed in a beautiful home in Calabasas, CA. This is a 61" HD Pioneer Plasma (yes its 1080p), accompanied by a 5.1 Definitive Technology surround sound system. Eventually the components to the left will be house by a media cabinet of some sort, and the center speaker (sitting on the box) will rest on a glass shelf that she had yet to purchase. I Can't See My TV, Because of My Feet ?

This West Hills, CA resident wanted to get this 42" Vizio HD Plasma up and off the stand because his feet were blocking his vision of the TV when he laid in his bed. lol So we mounted the Flat-Panel 18" above the stand and now he can even read the subtitles, when necessary. You Guys do Hardwood Floors Too ?!?!?

INSTALL|utions also does Hardwood floor installs. This is a recent job that we completed off Melrose. The floors were previously installed, but the customer wanted them Refinished. So they were stripped down and redone with a Med. Coffee Brown Stain. Sorry about the noise in the background, thats one of the machines being ran on the floors in one of the bedrooms. Vizio LCD finds New Home in Calabasas!

This installation was completed in Calabasas. It is a 30" Vizio LCD. The customer had pre-purchased the shelving unit, which they asked me to mount directly above the monitor. They didn't want the wires concealed behind the wall, so we used a Cable Management Masking to hide the wires and make the install look as clean as possible. The LCD TV was mounted with an articulating wall bracket which allows the customer to swivel the flat-screen in the other direction and view it from the sitting area of their Master Bedroom. 50" Vizio Plasma over Fireplace

Projector Screen on Drop Ceiling

Because of the lack of strength in those drop panels of these type of ceilings, a lot of people believe that they cannot ceiling mount larger TV's such as Projector Screens, Plasmas, or LCD's. This is not true. In most cases, there are more installation possibilities than meets the eye. This brackets for this 120" Screen was mounted to the structural beams above the panels, then hung down another 3ft by steel cable, then connected to the sreen housing. So don't assume that your home/office can't meet the grade, there is an INSTALL|ution for everything!
